Allen-Vanguard has redesigned its CEM series of search mirrors to further enhance accessibility for search professionals. The telescopic CEM series, which includes an under vehicle rechargeable trolley mirror, is a convenient and valuable search kit for otherwise inaccessible areas in vehicles and buildings as well as on ships. The device is currently used by the police, customs, prisons and border control as well as military and counter terrorist forces. The redesigned CEM units include a long telescopic arm that has an optional light pod with ultra-bright LEDs. The five-section arm is lightweight with a unique injection-molded locking mechanism which fixes the arm in position during use. Manufactured from extruded aluminium with a grey finish, the mirrors have non-slip rubberized handles which provide improved grip and comfort for users.
